I have been photographing a lot of different things lately and am very interested in abandoned houses and buildings. There is a feeling you get walking inside of a place that others once lived. The memories they made, meals they shared, families they raised. All gone for one reason or another. Every one of the places is trashed completely. Some, almost all, have had so much damage done that is is hard to see what once was. I find it disturbing that strangers feel it necessary to enter a building or house and start destroying it. What makes a person do that? I don't know. I just know I enjoy photographing what used to be...without disturbing anything. Trying to capture some beauty within the chaos and ruin.
