My lovely Western Terrestrial garter snake checking out the world from the safety of my shoe. I think he is as fond of me as I am of him.
(not shown in this photo) At the moment he is blue, should shed in the next day or so. Can't believe how big he is getting compared to when we first got him....he was not much bigger than an earthworm and not he is over two feet long.
