step lightly

I took a chance and went outside barefooted to take some morning photos around the yard. As I stepped into the house, turned to close the door, I saw a lovely opportunity right at my feet
It disappeared slowly which left no visible evidence that I had even been there. But that simple event spoke more than a thousand words. Just because the mark we leave disappears, doesn't mean we never existed. And even if the mark we make on the world doesn't disappear, makes it no less or more meaningful than the ones that did.
